Saturday worries

Yesterday was a day I never want to see again.  It started off as a normal Saturday, Miss S drove herself to work in her new found freedom of car ownership and the rest of us enjoyed a bit of a lazy Saturday morning.

We nipped into to town - my mum is in a Nursing Home and needed some new clothes so we had that task to do, we wandered round a few shops, bought Master S a bar of Moo Chocolate which is dairy free so a fab treat.

On our return home Master S complained his eyes were funny, within 10 minutes he said his head hurt and 10 minutes later he was being sick and shaking and crying with the pain in his head.  Not one to flap I phoned NHS 111 as no child should be in that much pain  ever.  After the usual questions they put me through to a Nurse who gave us an appointment at Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin within the hour. By the time we got up there the pain and sickness had subsided and he was back to normal.  The diagnoses - potential Migraine.  As  a sufferer myself I completely sympathise with him - just wish mine were so short lasting.

He's absolutely fine now, no side effects which is great but I'll know what to watch out for and treat earlier if there is ever a next time.
